Hi Newhipsters

Today’s post is dedicated to Solange Knowles who is known for her bold, bright, eye-catching fashion and style. She is definitely not one to shy away from bold prints, shapes and colours and I love how her hair is one of her biggest accessories and how well it compliments her overall look. Solange has completely embraced African fashion from tribal prints to different shapes and textures of garments to bold accessories, one of my favourites right now is the head scarf also known as the turban. I just have to say that Solange has embraced her natural beauty to the fullest and this to me makes her beautiful inside and out, she has in my opinion become an inspiration to black women worldwide. She has definitely inspired me to embrace my natural beauty as well as being a proud African Sista. I am really warming up to African-tribal prints and would love to incorporate more of these prints and styles into my everyday style as well as supporting more South African fashion. We have a beautiful country filled with beautiful talented people with lots to offer. Ok back to turban styling, I’ll definitely be playing around with a few turban’s to come up with my own unique way of rocking a turban, keep a look out.
