Who would’ve thought the poncho would be the hot item to own this winter, but thanks to Woolworths for updating this staple in a modern classic way by playing around with fun prints, the poncho has definitely become the must have piece to make a statement this season. This year Woolworths has provided us with a few options in the poncho department to cater to our various tastes and styles. Today I’m wearing an amazing leopard print wool poncho - which I’m insanely obsessed with, but if you’re not into or mad about animal prints and would like something more toned down, I would recommend the very trendy check wool poncho here.

Because there are’nt many ways of wearing a poncho I decided to stray away from the norm and wore my poncho as a top which I belted at the waist to create an illusion of a peplum. I kept the rest of my outfit rather simple as the poncho was the focal point and hero of the outfit.
