I know we are currently in a season where it is all about bright colours, soft tones and florals, but for some strange reason I’ve been gravitating toward the colour black. There’s just something so fierce, sophisticated and dominant about the colour. Alright, I thought about it and think that the colour perfectly complements the confident, mature and reserved side of my personality and style.

Thanks to Truworths I picked up two amazing items that perfectly match and assist me in creating sophisticated, minimal and chic looks. I’m refering to the black sleeveless blazer and wide-leg pants. I absolutely love these two items for the fact that they are so diverse and can be worn in many different ways, which I definitely will be doing. They are also the great in between season pieces which could easily be carried from winter right through to spring.
