Today’s post is all about High-top wedge sneakers which i’m completely in love with. The sneakers in the pictures above are Isabel Marant sneakers, but unfortunately for me at the moment i cannot afford to purchase these. So i went searching for lookalikes at Sandton City and found a pair of black lookalikes at Topshop at a reasonable price. They look very similar to the Marants and are very comfortable too. I’ve never really been a sneaker kind of girl but when i realised that these have a built-in wedge, i just had to get a pair. Wearing these sneakers gives you that element of swag and elegance due to the wedge giving you a little bit of height and posture. The trend lately with most bloggers including myself is to wear your high-tops with skirts and dresses. Whether it’s a maxi skirt and dress or mini, it takes a formal elegant outfit and adds that element of swag and street chic to your look. Which in my opinion is absolutely genius and oh so fun. I’m wearing my high-tops with a A-line mint chiffon skirt, which i paired with this gorgeous coral crop sweater for a lil colour blocking and swag. My accessories are a mixture of gold mint and beads, as seen by my mint earring studs, mint handbag, gold arm cuff and combination of gold and mint beads and bangles.
