Today I’ve compiled a look consisting of a few of my favourite trends for autumn/winter this year.
The first trend, one you all know because I can’t stop posting and obsessing over, is the winter coat. Coats are a definite must have this winter for a sophisticated well put together look. I definitely scored with my coat in the colour department, for this year navy is the new black.
Another big trend this season is your tartan and plaid prints. I love this print particularly for its versatility as well as its bold print and warm colour palette. There are many great ways of wearing this trend, from wearing head-to-toe plaid, mixing your plaid/tartan with other prints, to that old school grungy plaid.
So we all know that leather is a winter staple, especially these past few years we have seen a variety of leather clothing gracing the runways. Since last year I have developed an obsession with leather shorts and knew that it had to make its way into my winter wardrobe this year. I love the varsitility, edginess and simplicity of leather shorts not to mention the array of outfits that could be achieved from this little garment.
Lastly is the sock and heel trend. This is a great way to carry your lovely heels, sandals or wedges over into winter, for a casual, chic, streetstyle inspired look.
