For as long as I can remember I’ve always loved and still do dress up for every occasion and experience in my life. It’s a great way to attach an experience or memory to a particular time or place in your life. So, when you look at that particular garment or ensemble you are guaranteed to take a ride down good old memory lane. The same applies to my jeans. I have what I like to think of as a pair of jeans for every occasion and mood. For example, if I’m feeling a lil sexy and fierce, it doesn’t get any better than a well fitted skinny jean. And, when I want to kick back and relax, a pair of extremely distressed boyfriend jeans is definitely the way to go.

I know for a fact that my Doll Palesa shares the same sentiments. Everyday is a dress-up day for The Duo Desk, this is why we put together two looks to show you what our day in denim would look like.So, to avoid completely contradicting myself lol, Palesa and I decided to change it up (because we are such rebels) by opting for the Amelie SuperSkinny jean from River Island for our more laid back, relaxed look. We kept the look very classic and clean for a busy day of running errands and shopping of course. I absolutely love the fit of the Amelie SuperSkinny jean, It’s breathable and perfectly moulds to your body giving you that desirable shape without cutting off circulation. I’m kind of obsessing over the light blue wash of the jeans, the lighter the better. Making it the perfect pair of jeans for this overbearingly hot summer. Jeans / River Island

The perfect look for a fashion night out on the town. I absolutely love the versatility of the Eva Girlfriend jean, it’s one of those fits that can easily be carried from day-to-night and from home to the office. It has just the right amount of distress without looking untidy and the perfect length to give you that illusion of height. I know my short Sista’s will agree with me. If you have a look in the image above you can see that Palesa kept her jeans unfolded, giving it a more elegant look.
