Belted Suits

There’s nothing I love more than a garment that is versatile and that could be worn in a variety of different ways to achieve a unique and creative new look each time. That garment to me is the pant/skirt suit, there’s a lot that could be said about the benefits of owning the “right” suit, but I am not going to get into that now, we’ll save that for another day. If you are a regular reader of Newhipster you would’ve seen me wear this pink pant suit a couple of times now, but what I like about this suit is that each time I’ve worn it, it was different from the last. Today I was inspired by Prada’s fall 2013 ready-to-wear collection here they showcased a variety of skirt suits belted at the waist, this is definitely a unique and creative way of reinventing a suit as the new power garment.
